This book was written by Dr. Destry Dokes to inspire leadership characteristics to upper-elementary and middle school students. I show them throughout the book that they are leaders regardless of what field of study or sports they decide to select. I highlight how their village or community (parents, grandparents, suprintendents, principals, teachers, coaches, and others) is there to support their learning and social-emotional development. Finally, the book was designed to encourage students to read.
